The Baltimore area's most prestigious comedy competition is back for its 16th year! Magoobys Joke House will showcase 45 of the funniest up-and-coming comedians from the DMV. Round one features five shows with 9 comedians each, and the top two from each will advance to the finals. Scoring is determined by a combination of judges' decisions and audience votes, so your input matters!

The finals take place on Saturday, January 2nd, where one comedian will be crowned 2026 Magooby's Comedian of the Year. The winner receives a $1000 cash prize, several paid bookings at Magooby's, and their photo and plaque displayed in our lobby.

Past winners like Shane Gillis, Stavros Halkias, and Sahib Singh started their careers here and are now major national acts. Don’t miss this chance to see the next big stars of comedy before their rise to fame.

Tickets are just $15 —join us for a night of laughs, voting, and unforgettable talent!
